Mrs. Trejo's 4th graders at East Heritage Elementary are now conservation detectives! They're using their senses to find out what's in those mysterious canisters. And they're learning how important light is for watching nature!


Materials will be on display at every school site and the district office for the public to view until April 18, 2024. We encourage our educational partners to preview the material and submit feedback.

STEAM Night at Falcon Ridge Elementary was a total blast! Science, technology, engineering, arts, and math came together for an electrifying event!



Celebrating Black History Month at DCIS, the Day Creek Coyotes had some great lunchtime activities to honor this special month.


We asked our elementary students to create posters demonstrating the importance of attendance for academic success! Evanya, a first grader from Falcon Ridge, won first prize in the K-2 division at her school site. Remember: aim for 5 or fewer absences, be on time every day, and stay for the entire school day.
