
Hands-on learning is the BEST! Our Terra Vista second graders are diving into 2-D shapes and fractions using play dough to create 2, 3, and 4 equal part. Learning through play makes math extra memorable!


Just another shining example of the amazing things happening in Etiwanda libraries! Mrs. Sepe’s kindergarten class at Grapeland Elementary has made incredible progress during library time. What started as a room full of excited little runners has transformed into a group of attentive listeners during Mrs. Lane’s weekly read-alouds. Thanks to the patience, flexibility, and love from the librarians and staff, these young readers are now confidently checking out books all on their own!

Our Child Care students had a blast with hands-on experiments! They created homemade stickers, watched elephant toothpaste foam up, tested pH levels with red cabbage juice, and made lemon volcanoes fizz and bubble. Learning has never been this fun!


What a great night at Solorio Elementary! EL Bingo Night was a huge success with an amazing turnout—students, parents, district staff, teachers, and board members all coming together for a fun and engaging evening. Thanks to everyone who joined!

Our Etiwanda students in the after-school program had an exciting and educational time exploring how rain clouds work! Through a hands-on experiment with shaving cream and colored water, they observed how ‘rain’ forms and falls, just like in real clouds. This engaging activity not only sparked their curiosity about weather patterns but also encouraged them to think like young scientists. It was a splash-tastic experience filled with discovery, learning, and fun!

Etiwanda families – studies show too much screen time can delay language development. Talk, read, and play instead! Every conversation counts.


Perdew Elementary’s 5th graders put their creativity and engineering skills to the test with the classic Egg Drop Experiment! From brainstorming the best designs to the exciting moment of impact, every step was a blast! What was more fun—building the perfect egg protector or watching the results unfold?




Mr. Dan, our amazing CPL crossing guard, reminds us to stop and get ready to enjoy Spring Break!
