Classroom Repair, Safety and Education Bond Measure

On November 8, 2016, the Etiwanda School District voters approved Measure I to generate locally controlled funds to upgrade neighborhood schools to meet safety, academic and technology standards.

Citizen’s Oversight Committee

Meeting

The Citizen’s Oversight Committee is a 10-member independent oversight panel established pursuant to the requirements of Measure I passed by the voters of the Etiwanda School District and state law. Its members are volunteers appointed by The Etiwanda School District Board of Trustees as directed by state law and the Etiwanda School District Independent Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee Bylaws. The Citizen’s Oversight Committee shall inform the public concerning the District’s expenditure of bond proceeds. To do that, the Committee is expected to review and report on the proper expenditure of taxpayers’ money for school construction projects. The Citizen’s Oversight Committee shall meet at least once a year but shall not meet more frequently than quarterly. Service on the Committee is for up to two years.
