Hello! Welcome to 6th grade. My name is Miss Fontana. I grew up in Rancho Cucamonga where I attended Alta Loma High School. After graduation, I left for Southern Utah University to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher! I learned so much while I was there and firmly believe in my school's motto, 'Learning Lives Forever'. After graduation, I was lucky enough to join the shark tank, and furthered my education by getting my Master's Degree. This is my 6th year here at Summit, and I am SO excited to have you here. I love to cook, especially Italian food and am a big fan of cheesy jokes and puns. Before work you can find me getting coffee (quad shot of espresso and sweet cream cold foam to be exact:) ) and after work I am usually at the gym or watching cringy reality TV shows. In my free time I enjoy visiting with family and friends, day trips, and relaxing at home. I am a big fan of traveling and the history this world has to offer.

I believe every student has the ability to learn. I look at it like this--everyone goes to the store. Some may drive, ride a bike or walk. However, they all end up at the same place! We are going to have a great year together where you will grow not only as a student, but as an individual.
