The purpose of CJSF is to foster high standards of scholarship, service and citizenship on the part of California students.

The membership application window for the 1st application of the 2024/2025 school year is currently open and will close on Friday, August 30 by 4:00 pm. Instructions on how to complete the application are on the CJSF Google Classroom.

Your membership donation of $5.00 must be turned into the office no later than Friday, August 30 by 4:00 pm.

Important Dates

In order to participate in CJSF the below guidelines must be met:

  • Students must have a minimum of 8 points in four academic classes for each trimester they are submitting an application.  Points are calculated by A=3; B=1; C=0.

  • Students may not have D’s or F’s in any core classes (ELA, Social Studies, Math and Science).

  • Students may not have N’s or U’s in citizenship.

Community Service:

Students must also complete Community Service Hours. 8th grade students are required to complete five (5) hours per trimester.

Membership Donation:

$5.00 per trimester.  Membership donations can be paid in the Online Community Store or in the office via cash or check payable to Summit Intermediate. 

Note:

  • 1st Trimester membership is based on grades from 3rd trimester of 7th Grade. 

  • Student must complete the online application and submit a copy of their report card.  Report cards can be downloaded from Aeries.

As this is a state program, we will not be able to accept any late applications
