Windrows Elementary Logo

Carina Ristic

I am very happy to know that your child will be a member of my class this year! Windrows is a great school and I am very fortunate to have worked here for so long. This will be my 29th year here. I have taught 3rd grade for 9 years and have spent the rest of my years at 4th grade. After school hours, I like to spend time with my husband and three kids. Together we like to travel and also enjoy boating at the lake. My hobbies include art such as painting or ceramics, hiking, and reading.

Homework Assignments

HOMEWORK LINK: Daily assignments are listed in the link. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a text on the Rooms App.

READING:

Homework includes nightly reading for 30 minutes. This is to ensure that the AR reading goal is met on time. Books should be within the prescribed reading zone (ZPL). Students can access reading materials from the library, the classroom, or online on Sora.

PRACTICE/REINFORCEMENT:

Other homework generally consists of math and spelling/vocabulary practice. Incomplete assignments may also be assigned to be completed at home.

WANT MORE?

Students can always challenge/enrich their homework curriculum by logging on to ThinkCentral (Reteach/Enrichment pages) or work on i-Ready for either math or reading!
