This is my 27th year teaching at Summit Intermediate School. As you are aware Etiwanda is an amazing district, and I am fortunate to do something I love! I earned my Bachelor's and Advanced degrees at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and the University of La Verne. I hold degrees and credentials in Education K-8, Business, a minor in History, with a Masters in Education. I earned a "highly qualified teacher" certificate, GATE re-certifification, and completed Google Classroom, Common Core, and StudySync training as well as being nominated Teacher of the Year 2013.

Family time is important! I am married with three beautiful children. My husband Rob is also a teacher in the ESD. He teaches 3rd grade at Caryn Elementary. My children, Madison, a graduate of Cal State University Fullerton, Taylor, a graduate of University of La Verne, and Grant, a senior at Cal State University San Marcos, are the highlight of my life.

My pastimes include boating, hiking, swimming, soccer, movies, and reading. I enjoy all sporting events and time spent with my family.
