Directions for how to access ConnectEd/Math at home

  1. Open a browser (Google, Internet Explorer,…). 

  2. Go to Google.com 

  3. Click SIGN IN. 

  4. Log into your student district-issued Google account. 

  5. Go to Chromebooks 

  6. Click on ConnectEd. 

  7. Click on the ConnectEd Logo Step 8: Choose the book you wish to use. Google User:

Art

Course Description 

In this 6-week elective course, Art, students will participate in a unique collection of art lessons and projects for 6th-Grade students that focuses on art, history, culture, geography and literacy integration using a variety of techniques and materials.


Program Objectives

  1. Students will participate in “Famous Artist Friday.”

  2. Intro to Art Elements and Principles (Flip Book)

  3. Students will complete a Color Wheel

  4. Develop Drawing Skills 

  5. Intro to Echo Drawing

  6. Complete “All About Me” Art Phone

Universal Access

Our primary focus will be to [CHOOSE 1 of the following options to finish this statement: (1) develop foundational skills in Language Arts/Math; (2) reinforce what is being taught in Language Arts/Math; (3) provide opportunities for extension and acceleration in Language Arts/Math; (4) provide instruction in multi-lingual language development; (5) touch base with the students on my caseload.
