Welcome to Mrs. Kinsey's 4th Grade Class!

I am excited to be your child's teacher this year!

As an educator, I am aware of the impact teachers have on the lives of their students. I believe that every child can learn and has the potential to succeed. I know that every  student has their own learning style and should feel safe in a classroom environment where they are free to express themselves in an engaging, creative, and interactive way. 

I believe that communication is the key to a great parent and teacher relationship. I also believe that it takes all of us as a team - teacher, student, and parent- to help each child grow to their greatest potential. 

Thank you for trusting me with your child and their education.  I am so excited to see the growth in your child this year!

Upcoming Events

  • Spring Break - March 25 - March 29

  • i-Ready Goal #3: 14 reading and 14 math lessons passed by May 16

  • Student Council Animal Shelter Field Trip - April 4

  • Marking Period 5: Six-week grade cutoff - April 5

  • CAASPP State Testing: April 8 - May 10 -Please be sure your child is here, has a good night's sleep the night before, and a good breakfast. Also, please try and schedule any appointments in the later morning, as we will be testing first thing in the mornings. Thank you.

Announcements:

  • School campus gates are open at 7:45 a.m.

  • School begins at 8:15 everyday.

  • Monday's are a minimum day with a 1:15 p.m. dismissal

  • Tuesday's - Friday's have a 2:45 p.m. dismissal

  • Headphones -wired that fully cover ears for daily use at school are preferred

    (suggested to bring the first day of school.)

Helpful hints: 
--Make sure that everyone is logged out of Google Chrome on the device before having your student sign in.

--Click on the above link. Then, click on "All Student Programs." Next, click on the ConnectED link. This will open ConnectEd for our English Language Arts curriculum.

--For i-Ready click on the i-Ready link on the web site above then choose "Log in with Google" when the i-Ready window opens.

--Passwords are case sensitive.
