5th Grade Class of 2023-2024!  

Welcome to all my students and family members who will be part of the B2 5th Grade family this year!  Let me introduce myself.  Aside from being a proud Falcon Ridge 5th grade teacher, I am also a father, husband, retired martial arts instructor and artist.  Whether in an elementary school classroom, on a martial arts mat or in a university classroom, I have taught students of all ages from preschool to older adults throughout the past 27 years! I'm very excited to be working with all of my 5th grade students and their families this year!

My primary goal is to provide a safe, inclusive and academically rigorous learning environment in which ALL students meet or exceed California 5th Grade standards.  I believe strongly in helping kids become their best independent, disciplined and confident selves in both academics and life.  This is very important as upper elementary grades serve as a significant and memorable transition from an elementary to middle school experience.  

I have lived in this community for 21 years and have experienced being the parent of a child growing up in the Etiwanda School District (She's a junior in high school now...yikes!). Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your child's academic and personal growth adventure!
