Welcome to 6th Grade!!

I am very excited to be your 6th grade Math teacher.  I look forward to this adventure that we are embarking on together.  I know this year will be exciting, fun, and PRODUCTIVE!!

I wanted to give you a little background information on myself.  This is my 27th year of teaching.  I taught elementary school in the Central School District for 6 years prior to coming to the Etiwanda School District.  The last 20 years, I have been a teacher at EIS.  I have ONLY taught 6th grade Math and Science except the 2019 -2020 school year, I taught 8th grade Math and Science.  I LOVE MATH!!

As far as my personal life, I have 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren.  My family is very important to me.  We are an athletic family.  It seems most things we do are centered around sports and activity.  My son plays professional basketball in Turkey.  My youngest daughter was an All-American volleyball player in college.  My two grandsons also love sports.  One plays basketball and the other plays soccer.  As for myself, I was a college athlete too.  I played basketball for the University of Notre Dame.  I still love working out and staying in shape.
