Shannon Hill

Welcome to TK at East Heritage! My name is Mrs. Hill and I am so EXCITED to be your child's teacher this school year. This will be my 27th year of teaching children and it's truly an HONOR to INSPIRE, MOTIVATE, EDUCATE, and SUPPORT my TK Kiddos in meeting their GOALS!  This will be an exciting year filled with meeting new friends, adventures, and learning.  My goal is to encourage ALL STUDENTS to be the BEST they can be and SUPPORT them in every way. I PROMISE to do my BEST to help students learn and grow both inside and outside the  classroom. I want EVERY student to feel safe, cared about, and excited during learning! My husband and I have twins and they are entering their junior year in high school. I have one SPOILED dog and her name is Rosie! I LOVE watching football and basketball! Go EAGLES and CLIPPERS!

The daily activities are carefully planned to ENCOURAGE independence and self-confidence through large group, small group, and one on one participation. The focus of the curriculum centers around thematic units and related selections of literature. This year, TK students will get to visit our beautiful library every Friday! What FUN we will have!

I am looking forward to a FUN-tastic school year!

Respectfully,
Shannon Hill :)
