"Enhancing a high quality, well-rounded education for ALL students in the Etiwanda School District."
About Us
The Beginning
The Etiwanda Excellence in Education Foundation (E3) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded in 2005 in response to substantially reduced federal and state funding for California public schools. Dedicated educators, parents, and business professionals clearly recognized a need to support an academically strong education for Etiwanda students. The foundation was formed to help expand opportunities for students and teachers by providing additional funding for projects which augment Etiwanda School District's strategic plan and enrich the education of students.
The Next 20 years
Over the past two decades the Etiwanda Excellence in Education Foundation (E3) has served as a liaison between the community and our schools. The E3 Foundation is administered by a Board of Directors comprised of parents, district personnel, and business leaders who represent the interests of the district's seventeen schools. The Foundation supports Innovative Teacher Grants and after-school enrichment classes. E3 also holds events throughout the year such as a Family Fun 2K/5K Run and Golf Tournament. Funds from these events go back to the schools to support programs and initiatives that will have long-term impact on the education of all students in Etiwanda. In addition, the Foundation seeks partnerships with corporations and organizations that can benefit the educational objectives of the district and students of Etiwanda.
The Future
The Foundation has raised over $880,000 for the Etiwanda schools. In order to continue to make progress, donations to the Foundation by parents and the community will help us continue to move towards the priority a of quality education in the Etiwanda schools. Join us by getting involved and supporting the Etiwanda Excellence in Education.
