Etiwanda Colony Elementary School

Karee Coffman

I am very excited to be teaching first grade this year! I hope to install great learning and studying habits for your child in their learning adventure this year and for many years to come. I look forward to creating a fun and engaging learning environment to meet the needs of all my students.

I am a graduate from the University of La Verne, where I received my Bachelors, Teaching Credentials and Masters in Education. I chose this profession because it has been a life long dream of mine. I love working with children and watching them grow both socially and academically. I come from a long family history of educators, so I guess you can say "it's in my blood". This is a very enjoyable and rewarding career.

We have library every Wednesday. Please have your child bring their library book to school daily.

P.E. is Monday and Wednesday. Have your child wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Be sure they have a water bottle.

Homework Folder are due back every Friday.

Remember to encourage your child to prepare for A.R. tests.
