About Mrs. Stewart

I am so excited for the upcoming school year! Fifth Grade is the last stop on the elementary journey before middle school. It is my favorite of all the grades that I have taught! This year we will learn new concepts that will combine and culminate all that you have learned while in elementary school and have fun along the way!

This will be my 21st year teaching with the Etiwanda School district. Every year I am so fortunate to get to know so many wonderful families. West Heritage holds a special place in my heart!

While I enjoy the summer weather and traveling with Mr. Stewart, my favorite time of year is when football season begins! I love burritos, iced tea, and dark chocolate.

I look forward to meeting each of you and getting to know you throughout the school year!

Announcements

Math Grade - Improvement Opportunity

Chapter 5 Math Tests have been graded and returned to students. Students scoring less than 70% will have the opportunity for a retake near the end of the month. Prior to retaking the test student will need to complete Chapter 5 Personal Math Trainer lessons. Each lesson completed, successfully, will be awarded 1 extra credit point. All students are eligible for this extra credit opportunity.

All homework will come home each day in the BLUE Communication Folder. All assignments are written down in the student planner, "Binder Reminder," each day, after lunch. The daily homework assignment can be access using the link below.
