Amy Meath

Dear Fifth Grade Families,
My name is Amy Meath.  I am very excited to be your child's teacher for your child's final year in elementary school.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. I received my Master's Degree from Chapman University in Curriculum and Instruction in 2002.
This is my twenty-seventh year of teaching.  All of these years have been at the elementary level with twenty-five years in Etiwanda, which is a wonderful place to work and learn!
I am excited about teaching your child and seeing them grow throughout their final year at Terra Vista!
I have two sons.  Keegan is a senior at Cal Poly Pomona, and Preston is a senior at Rancho Cucamonga High School.  They both were in the Etiwanda School District from kindergarten through 8th grade. I am from North Dakota, which is where I spend much of my winter vacation. I love going to the lake, reading, and spending time with my family.
You will receive classroom information from me either through Remind or email.  If you have any questions, my email address is amy_meath@etiwanda.org

Remind is the best way to contact me!

The school phone number is 909-945-5715.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Meath

Mission For The Class:
It is my belief that all children should be able to learn to their fullest
potential and focus on teaching growth mindset. I believe that having a safe learning environment is essential for
all children to learn.
Students will be working cooperatively with each other to help develop the skills they will need to
be successful not only in school but in life.
I have taken classes in differentiation to help students achieve academic success for themselves.

At Terra Vista, we follow these rules to help maintain a safe learning environment:

Be Safe

Be Respectful

Be Responsible

Supply List

Many parents have asked us for a list of supplies they could donate in the classroom.  This is a suggested list of items that our grade level teachers have identified as useful for our instructional purposes.  The purchase of any of these items is voluntary.  Donated items will be for whole class use unless otherwise indicated.

Our school provides all of the materials and supplies a child needs for classroom instruction; however, donations in any quantity of the following items are always appreciated.

Your donation is voluntary, and no student will be denied participation if donation is not made.
Thank you,

Mrs. Meath
