Vanessa Smith

Greetings from Mrs. V. Smith

WELCOME TO TRANSITIONAL KINDERGARTEN!!  I am very excited about having the opportunity to introduce your child to the excitement and wonders of school!  TK is a time of giggles, smiles, and memories.  More importantly, it is a time during which we can establish a strong foundation of good learning, studying, and behavioral habits that will guide students through school and life.

Please allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Mrs. Vanessa Smith.  I love being an Etiwanda teacher.  This is my 29th year in the district.  I have served as a teacher, professional development mentor, independent study head teacher, and vice principal.  I consider myself very blessed to be a part of this community and to be teaching TK at Grapeland Elementary.

I understand and respect the importance of a positive working relationship between the three partners in your child’s education:  your child, you, and myself.  Please feel free to contact me anytime.  My email is vanessa_smith@etiwanda.org  You may leave a message for me at school at 463-7026.  I will respond as soon as possible and make myself available to discuss any concerns or questions you might have. .  Please remember that our district has a website at www.etiwanda.k12.ca.us that you can access for helpful information from and about our school district.

I look forward to a very successful school year!

With great excitement,

Vanessa Smith
