Welcome to TK 2022 - 2023!

This is my 26th year teaching for the Etiwanda District.  I have taught 4th, 3rd, 2nd, kindergarten, TK and CLOUDS preschool. I taught for 20 years at Terra Vista, 1 year at Grapeland, and this is my 5th year here at Golden. 

Prior to all of this I taught college, high school and middle school.  I have lived in 5 different states, traveled to all 50 states, as well as 15 countries.  

I have two adult daughters and 1 adorable grandson, as well as 4 adult step children & 4 step grandchildren.  I love books, nature, photography, fine art, travel, and animals!

I am committed to fostering kindness, curiosity and enthusiasm for learning! I have the best job in the world! I know I will love your children as my own this year!

Homework Assignments

We will send home a Weekly Newsletter with suggested activities and a Reading Log each Monday, only the reading log needs to be returned on Friday.  My recommendation is to is to turn off all screens - - let your little ones be active.  Swim in a pool, build castles with blocks, create forts with blankets, write on sidewalks with chalk, ride scooters & bikes, run, jump, and engage their imagination.  And then read together every evening!
