Mrs. Cobb's class

Mrs. Cobb

Jan Cobb

What a privilege to be a part of your child’s education this year.

My name is Jan Cobb and I am excited to get to know your child.

About Mrs. Cobb

I attended California State University San Bernardino where I received my Bachelor’s degree in teaching and then completed a Masters in Education with a focus on English Learners at Aquinas college in Grand Rapids Michigan. I have been teaching for 18 years.

Important things to know about me.

My family is very important to me! What a blessing to be married for 40 years to a great man! We have 3 amazing daughters and 3 adorable Grandogs! We also added a new puppy into our home.

I love visiting other countries and learning from their cultures.
Some of my other favorites are dark chocolate, a strong cup of coffee, and biking . My favorite color is red and that signifies my favorite team, the
Angels of course! Okay, I also like shopping at Target and Amazon!

One of my favorite quotes is,

“Every day is a new day!

I try to live this and remind my students of this every day.

Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books (B.O.B) is a voluntary reading incentive program that students can participate in. Students will be asked to read from a selection of books. The goal is to motivate and encourage students to read, while having fun competing with their peers.

Please visit the Etiwanda School District Library page for a full listing of the
BOB books for 4th grade for this coming school year.
