Welcome to 2nd Grade!
Prior to becoming a teacher, I acquired a bachelor’s degree in business/finance in Illinois. Teaching has always been a dream of mine. This is my 23rd year in Etiwanda teaching second grade and kindergarten. I also obtained a master’s degree in education.
Above is a photo of my husband and I in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana. We spend our summers and holidays in Montana...it is our happy place! He is a retired teacher. I guess teaching runs in the family! We reside in Glendora and enjoy traveling in our free time. My favorite hobbies are puzzles, crafts, reading, camping, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
My teaching philosophy includes:
guide children during the learning process
motivate student academic performance
encourage them to appreciate education
develop respect for themselves and others
continue to learn and grow as a teacher to improve my skills
Teaching brings me immense joy! I promote teamwork in the education process and look forward to us sharing in your child's academic and personal growth. We are going to have an exciting year together. I am delighted to be here!
