East Heritage Elementary School

Melissa Fleming

My name is Mrs. Fleming and I’m thrilled to be your child’s Kindergarten teacher! It is such a special year for you and your family and I am honored to be a part of it. I have taught in Etiwanda for 20 years. Education is my passion and I have high expectations for myself and my students, but I also work to create a very safe, nurturing environment for all my students. Our classroom runs on love & kindness! I truly enjoy serving my families and promise to take great care of your child!

I attended Concordia University in Irvine and Cal State University San Bernardino; where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree and Multiple Subject Cross-Cultural Credential. I’ve been happily married for 20 years. My husband, Eric, is a firefighter and we have three wonderful children. My oldest son is 17. My daughter is 15. My youngest son is 13 years old. They are my pride and joy! Of course, they keep me very busy, but spending time with my family makes me happy. We love sports, camping, skiing, and being outdoors! I also love reading, coffee, walks with my dogs, & TEACHING little ones!!
