Welcome

Ashley Porrino

Hello and Welcome Room 19 Families,

My name is Ashley Porrino and I am so excited to be your child's teacher! This will be my 6th year teaching for the Etiwanda School District and my 6th year at East Heritage Elementary. I wanted to introduce myself and let you all learn a little about me!

I grew up here in Rancho Cucamonga and like to call myself an "Etiwanda Kid" as I grew up in the Etiwanda School District. I am so excited and blessed to be able to teach in the community that I love so much. My schooling played such a huge role in my choosing to become a teacher. It was the many teachers that I had throughout the years here at Etiwanda that instilled a passion in me to learn and strive to be the best I could be. I love that I now get to give back and do what I love to do each day.

My husband and I have been married for 9 years and have a little girl named Lorelai. We also have a 8 year old Dachshund who is spoiled rotten :) My husband and I love to spend time with family, all things baseball (Go ANGLES!!) and camping at the beach every summer.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree from Cal Baptist University and my Masters in Digital Teaching and Learning from Azusa Pacific University.

As a true mom and teacher I run on lots of coffee these days but I am so excited to get back in the classroom and begin a new school year adventure!
