WELCOME

Hello! I am so excited to be your child's 5th grade math/science teacher this year! Fifth grade is an exciting year as we prepare for the upcoming middle school years. I can't wait to watch your child learn and grow each day!

ALL ABOUT ME

Teaching has been such a rewarding profession. This year will be my 20th year teaching. I began my career teaching 5th grade for 2 years in the Banning Unified School District. I am now starting my 18th year, also teaching 5th grade, at David W. Long.

What is also rewarding is being a wife and mother to 2 wonderful boys. My husband, Tom, and I have been married for 20 years and currently reside in the city I grew up in, Rancho Cucamonga. Our sons, Tommy (17) and Joey (14) also attended David W. Long. As a family we spend many hours on the soccer field.

All homework and classwork will be posted here in this link. All work is due by the following school day, unless otherwise noted. Late work will always be accepted, but for partial credit. I know that as we have students absent on different days it can get confusing and worrisome to make up any missed work. Please know that, especially under these unusual circumstances, I will be very understanding and flexible with absent work.
