I am so excited to have your child in my class this year! My goal is to encourage your child to meet their full potential. I look forward to a year full of watching your child learn and grow.

Education

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Cal State San Bernardino, and my Multiple Subject Credential and Masters in Education from Azusa Pacific University.

Teaching Background

This is my 20th year of teaching. I am starting my 9th year at D. W. Long teaching Fifth grade. Previously I taught for 11 years, teaching Third and Fourth grade, in the Ontario Montclair School District. I come from and long line of teachers and have loved following in my mom's footsteps. It was her excitement and love for students that made me want to become a teacher. My sister is also a Fifth grade teacher in the Etiwanda School District.

All About Me

I have been married to my husband, Anthony for 16 years. We have two kiddos, Chase (15) and Charlie (13), and a dog Coco. I love spending on the soccer field and volleyball court watching my kids do what they love. In my free time I love being at the beach and spending time with family.
