My name is Ms. Fernandez, and this is my 7th year teaching at Day Creek. I'm so excited to be back in school and to see all the new smiling faces on Monday.

Get to Know Ms. Fernandez

While we will get to know each other throughout this school year, my hope is that this will help students, parents, and families get an idea of who I am, my background, and some of the things I enjoy.  

Let me first say that I feel lucky and honored to be able to teach your student. I love teaching and interacting with the students in my class. I have been teaching at Day Creek Intermediate for seven years. Etiwanda School District is an amazing place, and DCIS is the best place to be!

Thank you for taking the time to get to know a little bit about me. I am excited to learn about your student, and grow with them throughout the year. I know this year will present challenges, but with hard work, kindness, and GRIT, we can accomplish anything we set our minds to!
