Welcome To First Grade! I'm your child's teacher Mrs. Figg. I have been teaching almost 40 years. I attended Fairmont State University in West Virginia for my Teaching Credential with a specialization in Math. Moved to California with my family and attended University of LaVerne to clear my West Virginia Teaching Credential to teach in California. I attended National University for my CLAD Teaching Credential. My dream was to be a teacher since I was in 1st grade and I have enjoyed teaching all these years and can't imagine ever not teaching others the love of learning! I have 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren...My oldest grandson will be returning to UCDavis soon to begin his Junior year. My 2nd grandson has started his Sophomore year of high school. My granddaughter has begun her Freshman year of high school. My youngest grandson is attending 6th grade in middle school this year.
