Welcome to 5th grade

Miss Chapa 🍎

Miss Chapa

Hello Room 20 Families!

My name is Krysta Chapa, and I am a 4th grade teacher here at Caryn Elementary School. This is my third year working at Caryn! However, I have worked with the Etiwanda School District for 9 years. I have attended school in the district as well! So it is awesome to now be teaching alongside teachers who have taught me!  I graduated with my Bachelors in Education and a Masters in Teaching and Learning from the University of La Verne.

I strive to create an environment in which all students feel safe, respected, and excited to learn. I believe in developing meaningful content-based instruction that meet the needs of all students. I have a great passion for student growth, social-emotional learning, and diversity!

I can’t wait to have an awesome school year with your student. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
